A bit of Brit

After seeing Bobby Long (London) open up for Michael Franti and Spearhead in October at the Wellmont, I was impressed with his soft acoustic guitar combined with deep, powerfully sung lyrics.  Going in I knew his recorded music was great but he is also a talented stage performer playing guitar, harmonica and lead vocals.  Backstage after the show, Bobby was humble and even shy.  He was grateful of the compliments received but Bobby was level headed and during the ten or so minutes with him he said, "thank you very much" about once a minute.  Support Bobby Long and listen to more on his Myspace.
